Having a website is one thing, but you may want to restrict certain content from general view – after all the Internet is a big place. We have a number of clients who have requested (and we have supplied) “secure members-only” areas – parts of the website that are only accessible by userid and password.
Reasons for having such areas may be:
- Commercially-sensitive data, perhaps in PDF files?
- You operate an after-school club and want to post pictures of the children but want to restrict access to parents only
- You need to make data available on the Internet to your travelling workforce but don’t want it to be viewable by the competition
- You are paranoid … (only joking)
A number of options are available should you wish to password-protect part or all of your website. We can provide such facilities whether or not you choose a Bespoke website or one using a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress.
